Infantry officer's saber model 1821, curved blade with throat and flat back (stained with rust), chased gilt bronze mounting, short-tailed cap, main guard branch splitting in the middle at a flowered ring into a secondary branch joining the plate in the middle. Symmetrical guard plate, floral quillon arched forward, horn fusee filigree absent. In its black varnished scabbard with three brass fittings and two rings. Condition 2-
