Handwritten letter as president of the Continental Congress, sent to "The Honorable George Bryan Esquire, Vice President, Pennsylvania," in full: "I have the honor of inclosing under this Cover an act of Congress of the 14th Inst. requesting the supreme executive power of this State to adopt measures for insuring a strict observance of the present Embargo on Provisions."
