Bunker Hill: John Chester Letter Signed Connecticut public official and militia officer (1749-1809) who saw action early in the war, from the Battle of Bunker Hill to the Battle of Trenton, but did not join the Continental Army. LS, one page, 6.25 x 7.5, March 29, 1809. Letter to Justus Riley, in part: "I have been busily engaged all this week adjusting a lease to Frederick Fuller, & being now through that business, I will wait on you and Mrs. Morgan tomorrow, to settle our accounts." In fine condition.
