Benjamin Disraeli Autograph Letter Signed ALS signed “B. Disraeli,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7.25, June 2, 1850. Handwritten letter to attorney Thos. Lofters, Esq., regarding a financial matter. In part: "Will you have the kindness, without loss of time, to prepare the powers of attorney for Mssrs. Drummond to receive our dividends? I have ascertained at the bank, the exact sums...all in the names of the Executors of the late Wyndham Lewis, Esq." In fine condition, with some light soiling. Accompanied by an engraved portrait of Disraeli, featuring his facsimile signature. Wyndham Lewis, whose estate is being settled, was the grandfather and namesake of Wyndham Lewis, British author, artists, and co-founder of the Vorticist modern art movement.
