Iván Hevesy (1893-1966) was an influential art critic, photographer and film critic. From the end of the 1910s, he took part in the artistic debates of the time, and between 1917 and 1918 he was editor of the magazine "Jelenkor". He associated with Lajos Kassák's circle and was close friends with László Moholy-Nagy, Béla Uitz and Sándor Bortnyik. Most of his art-critical writings were published in the magazines "MA" and "Vörös Lobogó", and later in "Nyugat". The cover design was created by Sándor Bortnyik (1893-1976), a Hungarian painter and graphic designer. He was influenced by Cubism, Expressionism, Constructivism and Bauhaus. - Browned due to paper.
