Provenance: Private Collection, UK. Note: The present work appears to be a smaller-scale copy of a monumental work by Abraham Brueghel, which was sold at Bonhams, London, on 6 December 2017 (lot 76). Another, similar composition, with the addition of a second figure, is in the collection of the Worcester Art Museum, Massachusetts [1935.109]. The scene is there attributed to Pietro Bonzi (1576–1636).
