After Jacob Jordaens, Flemish 1593-1678- A Satyr; pencil and watercolour on paper, 19.2 x 15 cm. Note: The present work appears to be a 19th-century copy after Jordaens' original, now held in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam [SK-A-198]. The scene depicts a satyr, with a human body and goat's hooves, playing a flute whilst minding a flock of goats (of which only one is visible in the present copy).
