Note: The present work appears to be a 19th-century copy after Jordaens' original, now held in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam [SK-A-198]. The scene depicts a satyr, with a human body and goat's hooves, playing a flute whilst minding a flock of goats (of which only one is visible in the present copy).
