"Diana's Return from the Hunt" after Rubens The goddess of the hunt Diana, depicted in a red robe next to her companions, shows the satyr Pan and her companions their hunting spoils, while Pan presents various fruits, Diana presents hares and birds, glazed painting, Copy after the Dresden painting by Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640), created around 1615, Rubens created the motif several times with slight variations, the motif can be found in the Dresden "Old Masters" Gallery and in the Serbian National Museum in Belgrade, oil on canvas, around 1910, unsigned, on the reverse of the canvas stamped copy note "Copie nach No. 979 der Königl. Gemälde Galerie zu Dresden", small loss to the canvas, in need of cleaning and some restoration, originally framed in approx. 14 cm wide oak moulding, rebate dimensions approx. 117 x 148 cm.
