KOHOL VASE (style) Blue-green glazed soapstone, with narrow neck and flat rim. The swollen body curves downward and the bottom rests on a quadrangular base. The body is decorated with the cartouche of Ramses II. Presence of stylus. H. 10.5 cm. Egypt, 19th dynasty, 1301-1236 B.C. Provenance: Michel Goughassian Collection (1943-2020), assembled mainly on the Paris art market in auction rooms and galleries. An Egyptian New-Kingdom steatite glazed kohol vase with the stick. The body decorated with the cartouche of Ramesses II. Dynasty 19th, c. 1301-1236 B.C.
