*SIGNED SEAT In pink hardstone, quadrangular and perforated, decorated on both sides. Side A: seated figure wearing a long robe, with an offerer opposite. The seated figure holds a long stick in her right hand and a flower in her left. Behind her, the offering table. Side B : Two figures, one wearing a robe, the other a long habit, holding buds opposite a third figure. 30 x 33 x 1 mm. Mesopotamia, Late Akkadian culture, 2254-2154 B.C. Provenance: Rassla Foundation, Zurich, acquired from Nefer, Zurich, 1984. A Mesopotamian pink stone sigilled seal, quadrangular in shape and perforated, decorated on both sides. Side A : a seated figure with long tunic, in front of her an offerer. Behind, the offering table. Side B : Two figures holding buds in their hands in front of a third figure.
