ZOOMORPHIC RHYTON In orange terracotta, shaped like a deer, with a long beak forming the animal's snout. The body forms the belly, with a short tubular neck at the back. The rounded handle is attached to the neck and ends in the deer's hindquarters. 18.7 x 38.3 cm. Amlash, 11th-11th century B.C. Provenance: Former Dr. Djafari collection, Kaiserslautern (1900-1981), Germany. An Amlash terracotta rhyton in a form of a stag. In the shape of a stag, with a long beak forming the muzzle of the animal. The body forming the belly, the neck located at the back of short tubular shape.
