Description

STATUETTE Depicting a male figure standing naked, feet together, resting on a tenon. The left hand is on his stomach, while the right arm is bent towards his chest and holds a club (?). Under the feet, an attachment tenon. The head is characterized by features specific to this type of statuette: elongated, flattened oval face, prominent nose, exhorbitant eyes. The head is topped by a distinctive headdress. This is probably a representation of a warrior divinity.
