TWO BOXES OF LATE 19TH CENTURY PHOTOGRAPHIC SLIDES BY ALGERNON MONTAGUE LIVESEY taken circa 1904 of Stourton Hall near Baumber. The Hall was demolished in 1955 and little of the original estate remains. The negatives, which are mostly captioned, depict the hall, the Livesey family, their cars and motorcycles, estate workers, outbuildings and gardens. Several were taken of Uffington House near Stamford before it was destroyed by fire in 1904, and also in Tattersall, Mablethorpe, Whitby etc (37cm wide 22cm deep 13cm high the slides are 17cm by 12.5cm.)
