Table clock. France, XIX century. Black marble and calamine. With watchmaker's marks on the inside of the machinery: "Franjus Raison & Thomas". It has a key. Measurements: 59 x 44 x 18 cm; 2.5 x 13 x 8 cm. French table clock, nineteenth century period. The sculptural group in calamine and worked in round bulk represents a mother teaching her daughter to read. They wear simple but elegant dresses, skillfully draped. The lady is seated on the clock case and rests the open book on it. The clock face is black and the Roman numerals in gold stand out on it. The border of the dial, chiseled, is also gilded. The black marble base is raised on metal claw feet and the front is filleted in gold.

French table clock in contrasting marbles, s.XIX. Case crowned by a figure of Urania, muse of Astronomy and Astrology, in patinated calamine. Dial with Roman numerals. Paris movement with hour and half-hour chiming. Without pendulum. Without key. 43 x 42,5 x 17 cm. Needs to be overhauled.
