A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE, c. 1920s A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE, c. 1920s China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Of compressed globular form, molded with a scrolling design, the wider sides centered by a roundel enclosing a palace scene in underglaze blue, and a blue line encircling the upper rim. The recessed base with an apocryphal four-character Kangxi reign mark in underglaze blue. Provenance: German private collection. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear. The stopper with open bubbles. Stopper: Ceramic stopper, carved spoon Weight: 48.5 g Dimensions: Height including stopper 82 mm. Diameter neck 18 mm and mouth 6 mm.
