Aragonese desk box, XIX century. In walnut wood and bone inlay. It shows signs of use and wear. Measurements: 21,5 x 44 x 30 cm. Desk-box with compartments inside for pens and papers. The pinyonet decoration, characteristic of Aragonese cabinetmaking, is based on inlaid bone inlays (pinion type) that are arranged in geometric and synthetic vegetal rosettes and fretwork. The marquetry decoration of small geometric pieces, known as grain of rice or pinyonet, appeared in Aragon from the 14th century with a clear aesthetic link to Mudejar art.

Victorian English style writing desk. Walnut wood. Bronze handles and hardware. With drawers on both sides. It shows signs of wear and tear. Needs restoration. Measurements: 82 x 146 x 90 cm. Victorian style desk made entirely of walnut wood, except for the gilded bronze handles and fittings. It is raised on ball feet, a resource that subtly lightens the robustness of the furniture. A peculiarity of this writing desk is that it has drawers on the front and back, arranged in rows of four flanking the central recess and a ninth drawer at the waist. Each drawer is highlighted with a molded profile.
