Important artists provided designs for xylektypom furniture, such as Hans Eduard von Berlepsch-Valendas and Bernhard Pankok.

Catalan commode-bookcase Torroella, XVIII century. Walnut wood, boxwood marquetry. Presents marks of use and wear; traces of xylophages. Needs restoration. Measurements: 228 x 124 x 64 cm. Late Catalan Baroque chest of drawers and bookcase, from Torroella. The chest of drawers or chest of drawers has a slightly wavy front that harmonizes with the trimmed skirt and cabriole legs. The upper part of the bookcase also adopts the curved element in the top. The drawers are decorated with lobed and molded carvings forming four-leaf clovers that border the keyholes. Likewise, fine vegetal motifs in boxwood marquetry decorate the front of the drawers and drawers.
