A CELADON-GLAZED ‘PUMPKIN’ WATER DROPPER, JOSEON DYNASTY A CELADON-GLAZED ‘PUMPKIN’ WATER DROPPER, JOSEON DYNASTY Korea, 19th century. Well modeled with rounded four-lobed sides, the top with a small aperture and matching leaf-form stopper, covered overall in a thick celadon glaze save for the foot rim, revealing the gray body partially burnt to orange in the firing. (2) Provenance: From a private estate in Normandy, France. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing flaws including kiln grit to the base.
