H. 29, W. 9, D. 19 cm Oxidation, wear to gilding, one foot missing. Original model attributed to the bronzemaker Jean Noël TURPIN, after a drawing by Jean François FORTY circa 1785. The Château de Versailles and the Musée Camondo hold similar andirons.
