Coconut goblet with gilt silver mount. Over a flared base ring with ornamental and fruit decoration in relief, multi-profiled, domed stand. Short, conical shaft surrounded by godrons and bosses with three voluted clasps with stylized female heads. Above a coconut-shaped bowl held by serrated, hinged and open-worked decorative bands. Slightly indented shoulder accentuated with mascarons, merging into a wide, leaf-shaped serrated mount on the lower rim ending in a high rim with fine, engraved volute decoration. Marked, master's mark "HB", reminiscent of the master's mark of Hans Boxhammer (became master in 1623) from Breslau. Weight approx. 440 g. H. 21 cm. Cf. Hintze, Breslau, no. 78. A German Baroque style gilt silver mounted coconut goblet. Master's mark. German. Late 19th century.
