Contemporary full red morocco, smooth spine, covers and spine preserved, gilt head, fillet on edges, wide interior framing, with 5 black cold fillets. Black mosaic title on 1st board, with art deco decoration below, reproduced on spine. Binding signed A. et J. LANGRAND 1926. Minor rubbing to binding, perfect condition inside. One of 315 copies on vellum pur-fil (N°127). 12 lithographs by MOREAU, very faithful to the atmosphere of the book... Beautiful Art Deco binding by sisters Andrée and Jeanne Langrand, who produced many fine Art Deco-inspired bindings between 1919 and 1940.
