RUBENS Pierre - Paul (After) 1577 - 1640 Saint Begga of Andenne. Oil on canvas (On reverse, three small pieces of reinforcement; minor restorations; old varnish dirty) H. 42 - L. 32.5 cm Dutch-style black wood frame. Based on the composition by P. P Rubens (circa 1614) in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, in which Saint Begga is depicted with her husband Ansegisus (Cf. Michael Jaffé, Rubens, Catalogo Completo, n°248, p. 195 - Milano 1989).
