Silver-plated headdress and belt buckle Turkmenistan, 20th century and Ottoman Empire, circa 1900 Tekke headdress made of multiple articulated plates, some inlaid with carnelian cabochons, the largest in the center engraved with a calligraphic inscription, and numerous diamond-shaped pendants, the buckle in four articulated parts in repoussé silver, partly gilded and nielloed, the two central parts round and domed with floral-inspired geometric motifs, with a two-headed eagle between them, the two ends drop-shaped. A leather belt embroidered with floral motifs, polychrome and metallic threads, metal and wood beads is included.
