[In the taste of Alfons Mucha] Original drawing in gouache and black or gold ink - Menu project. Cardboard 234*68mm. The figure in the center is another pasteboard measuring 132mm high by 19 to 39mm wide. Next comes a surrounding Art Nouveau decoration. We were unable to identify the artist with certainty, but he bears a signature "M" at the bottom of the figure, added after collage (the M extends over the white cardboard). Note also that the menu, written in pencil, contains ham from Prague (Mucha's home town). Clearly a project, we also note the addition of mistletoe in pencil at the bottom of the menu. This project seems never to have come to fruition, as we have found no copy of a similar menu. A fine document in Mucha's taste.
