A pair of gold cufflinks, early 20th century, each end of oval design, engraved with the ostrich feathers and crown of the Prince of Wales with the motto 'Ich Dien' ('I serve') and the Order of the Garter with the motto 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense' ('Shame on those who think evil of it'), enclosing the initial 'E', possibly for the later King Edward VII or VIII, connected by chain links, each end 1.9 x 1.5cm, stamped 18ct, fitted case with gilded Prince of Wales crest stamped Collingwood & Co. Provenance: Miss Daisy Henley, Mount Ephraim, Tonbridge Wells, Kent
