Binder containing two publications, L'entrée à Paris, published by the Russian Printing House, Belgrade, 1929, 172 pages, followed by L'armée des Seigneurs published by the Slavia Printing House, Belgrade, 1933, 189 pages, text in Russian, period half-binding, in blue percaline, smooth spine, title in gold lettering, with autograph dedication signed by the author on the title page of the first publication: "Most sincerely for Dr. C. W. du Bouchet, with my deep gratitude and respect, I offer this book on the world and Russia, Iv Chmelev, June 1934, Boulogne sur Seine" and on the title page of the second publication: "It is with joy that I offer this book dealing with luminous and childish things, to the very respectable Dr. C. W. du Bouchet, in memory of his help and care, Iv Chmelev, June 1934, Boulogne sur Seine". Contemporary wear, but overall good condition. Provenance: former collection of Dr. Charles Winchester du Bouchet (1868-1947), Swiss surgeon and philanthropist who lived in the United States and was American consul in Odessa in 1905.
