Cinderella. Gouache and India ink on paper, signed lower right with the artist's monogram and dated (19)37, preserved under glass in a modern frame. Slight wear to edges, but overall good condition. Sight: H.: 22.5 cm - W.: 22.5 cm. Frame: H.: 32 cm - W.: 32 cm. This work, inspired by Charles Perrault's fairy tale "Cinderella", was created to illustrate a children's puzzle commissioned by the Maison Jouets Vera in Paris (publisher of patience games), marketed in 1937-1938.
