Catalogue Note Thomas Hawkes Russell (1851-1913) was a solicitor, author and artist, a member of the Moss Exchange Club and British Bryological Society who wrote 'Mosses and Liverworts, An Introduction to Their Study, with Hints as to Their Collection and Preservation', published in 1908. Titles include willow, Mountain Ash, Campylopus setifolius, liverworts Scapania nemorosa and sphacelate, sallow salixcaprea, moss capsule peristome and lesser dodder cuscuta epithymum.
