Colgante de jadeita natural "León foo", dinastia Qing Pendant of natural jadeite type A, of light green tone with intense green spots. Carved in the shape of a foo lion hugging a large central pearl, with wide snout and big eyes, it is surrounded by large ruyi leaves. Measures: 53,53 x 27,03 x 22,21 mm; Total length: 23 cm. Weight: 64 g With Jade Identification Certificate, made by Hong King Kowloon Jade & Jewellery Laboratory LTD (August 30, 2011). Provenance: - Collection of Tommy Lam, Hong Kong, from 1980.

Foo dog; China, Qing dynasty, Kangxi period, 1662-1722. Glazed and enameled porcelain. Presents restorations and Repainting. Measurements: 16,5 x 15,5 x 6,5 cm. The foo lion, in many cases also known as the Foo dog, is an important symbol within the Chinese Taoist culture and, by its influence, also of the Japanese or Thai. It is identified with protection against evil spirits, and hence they are often represented in pairs at the entrance of temples, imperial tombs, palaces, government buildings, etc.. They are also known as Imperial Guardians, and were very frequent in the art of traditional China. They are attributed mythical powers of protection, and appear as early as the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) at the entrance of important buildings. Today, foo dogs are still frequent as decoration and symbolic elements at the entrance of all kinds of buildings, from hotels to supermarkets. In fact, we can find them both in China and in other countries with a Chinese emigrant population. It presents restorations and Repainting.

Chinese Tibor. Qing Dynasty, late 19th century-early 20th century. Porcelain. Presents some chipping. Measurements: 32 x 22 x 22 cm. Chinese Tibor decorated with the characteristic cobalt blue on white, which was highly appreciated in Europe since its early importation. It dates from the end of the Qing dynasty and its main ornamental motifs are also tibors and other types of vases.

Headrest. China, Qing dynasty, Guangxu period, 1875-1908. Hand painted porcelain. Remainder of export wax seal on the back. It has wear on the supports of the legs and some lack in a foot. Measurements: 25 x 32 x 13 cm. Antique Chinese porcelain pillow in the shape of a child resting on knees and elbows, in crawling position. The piece follows the models of the Song dynasty, although it is later. Emperor Guangxu also known by his temple name Emperor Dezong of Qing, personal name Zaitian, was the tenth emperor of the Qing dynasty, and the ninth Qing emperor to rule China proper. His reign, which lasted from 1875 to 1908, was largely dominated by his aunt, Empress Dowager Cixi. Guangxu initiated the radical Hundred Days Reform, but it was abruptly interrupted when the empress dowager staged a coup d'état in 1898. After the death of Emperor Tongzhi in 1875, Empress Dowager Cixi installed her four-year-old nephew as Emperor Guangxu, contravening Qing dynastic custom.
