The scene of each of the pieces, starts next to the foot and extends along the body forming a beautiful landscape. On the back they show ancient poems that speak about the properties of these flowers. On the base is inscribed in a double circle the seal "大清康熙年製 尺寸". The "twelve months" flower cups are characterized by depicting twelve branches of various flowers: winter jasmine, apricot, peach, peony, peony, pomegranate, lotus, orchid, sweet osmanthus, chrysanthemum, Chinese rose, plum and daffodil.
