Dorje tibetano de bronce dorado, dinastía Qing Tibetan ritual object commonly known as Dorje or Vajra, associated with Tibetan Buddhism, made in gilded bronze "天铁". Formed by an elongated central body adorned with reliefs, whose center is formed by a slightly flattened sphere, followed by three rings on each side, symbol of the six paths that lead to perfection (patience, generosity, discipline, effort, meditation and wisdom) and crowned by two projections of conical body that mimic the morphology of a lotus flower; from which emerge the five spikes (four outer and one central), with decorations made in relief in the form of stylized lizards or "makaras". These spikes are joined at the end forming a rounded profile, similar to a bulb. The five-pronged Dorjes have a great symbolism, and refer, among other things, to: The five natural elements, the five buddhas and the five wisdoms "Dharmadhatu", "Akshobhya", "Ratnasambhava", "Amitabha", "Amoghasiddhi". Headrest. China, Qing dynasty, Guangxu period, 1875-1908. Hand painted porcelain. Remainder of export wax seal on the back. It has wear on the supports of the legs and some lack in a foot. Measurements: 25 x 32 x 13 cm. Antique Chinese porcelain pillow in the shape of a child resting on knees and elbows, in crawling position. The piece follows the models of the Song dynasty, although it is later. Emperor Guangxu also known by his temple name Emperor Dezong of Qing, personal name Zaitian, was the tenth emperor of the Qing dynasty, and the ninth Qing emperor to rule China proper. His reign, which lasted from 1875 to 1908, was largely dominated by his aunt, Empress Dowager Cixi. Guangxu initiated the radical Hundred Days Reform, but it was abruptly interrupted when the empress dowager staged a coup d'état in 1898. After the death of Emperor Tongzhi in 1875, Empress Dowager Cixi installed her four-year-old nephew as Emperor Guangxu, contravening Qing dynastic custom.

Curious vase of the Qing dynasty. China, 20th century. Patinated bronze with hand painted enamel decorations. It shows marks of use and wear. Measurements: 17 x 8 x 8 cm. This vase entirely made of bronze has a periform container with the mouth for serving liquids. Its body is embellished by enameled bronze plates that fall on it as petals.
