STEFANO GIOVANNI (Italy, 1954) for Alessi Juicer "Mandarin", from the series "Family Follows Fiction", 1993. Model S631 Plastic. In its original box. Measurements: 21 x 17 x 17 cm. The "Family Follows Fiction" series consisted of a large family of plastic playful objects, in this case, inspired by Asian characters. Born in La Spezia, Stefano Giovanni is an architect and designer. He was a student of Buti at the University of Florence. In the early '80s, he founded the King-Kong Production group together with Guido Venturini. His projects, starting with the Girotondo tray (1989, designed with Guido Venturini), are articulated in a wide genealogy of objects in production in the catalogs of Officina Alessi, Alessi and A di Alessi.
