Table sculpture in the form of translatable as "bird of hope", this sculpture in the form of a bird is destined to brighten the homes of design and art lovers. Jaime Hayón was born and trained in Madrid, but he was forged as a designer at Fabrica, the creative incubator that Benetton runs near the Italian city of Treviso. He arrived there in 1997, when he was just twenty-four years old, and was put under the orders of Oliviero Toscani, who soon made him the head of its design department. From Fabrica he made his first collaboration with Barcelona Design as part of the Mail Me project. In 2004 Hayón decided to start his personal career, settled in Barcelona and started working on various projects while showing his most personal work in art galleries. His exhibition Mediterranean Digital Baroque at the David Gill Gallery in London, together with the bathroom collection he designed for ArtQuitect, marked the beginning of his meteoric international projection, which was consolidated with the "Showtime" collection produced by Bd and his subsequent collaborations with companies such as Metalarte, Camper, Lladró, Bisazza, Swarovski and Moooi. Hayón currently lives and works in London. Among his most recent awards is the Designer of the Year award from "Maison et Objets".
