The manuscript is unsigned, but the attribution is highly probable in view of the humorous intonation of the introduction signed Vieil Alexandrin , and the former actors of the Alexandrinsky Theater who worked with him, as well as actors from the Comédie française, are mentioned. Provenance: Archives of set designer Roman Petrovitch de Tirtoff (1892-1990), known as Erté.
