Frontispiece within finely elaborate xylographic frame, in center letterpress mark with two anchors joined by ribbon, at top, in oval inserted in frame, three lilies, with portraits of Laura and Petrarch and small wood carvings in the Trionfi, missing a 4 mm. strip at lower white margin of frontispiece, sonnet 92a p.94 on Avara Babylon as usual censored, perfect specimen in an elegant 18th-century red morocco binding with gold decoration to the plates and spine.
