Albertus Magnus Magnus, Albertus - Logica (Liber I-VIII). Add: Nicolaus Judecus: Quid apud Aristotelem significat verbum utrumlibet Venice, Johannes and Gregorius de Gregoriis de Forlivio, June 15, 1494, September 27, 1494. In 2nd. Elegant frontispiece with title embossed in large Gothic type, followed by a long text in Roman font granting printing rights by the Venetian Republic (one of the earliest examples of modern copyright), recto initial paper with text in red and black, text printed in Gothic type in two columns, titles in red, spaces for capilettera with small guide letters, a few diagrams and geometric figures in the text, to the last 4 papers non-invasive moisture halos, letterpress mark on verso of colophon, modern style binding in dark morocco with dry friezes, five-cord spine, metal clasp closure. Specimen thickly postilled by contemporary hand.

STEPHANUS ALBERTUS UITERWAAL (IJsselstein, 1889 - Bunnik, 1960) for GLASFABRIEK LEERDAM. "Madonna and Child". Manufacture Leerdam (Holland), design 1929. Frosted glass. Signed with anagram on the base. Measurements: 38 x 8 x 8 cm. Stephanus Albertus Uiterwaal was a Dutch sculptor, draftsman and painter. He achieved great recognition for his religious statues and was appreciated for his experimental sculpture. The Glasfabriek Leerdam was created as a glass factory in Leerdam where many prominent designers have worked or supplied designs. The glass factory is now known as Royal Leerdam Crystal. The company entered into business relationships with many countries and many traders came to Leerdam. Initially they worked for the British market, for South America and Mexico, as well as for some foreign customers with agents in Hamburg and Paris. In 1912 artists were contacted to create glass designs, De Bazel was the first, Andries Copier Cornelis de Lorm, Chris Lanooy HP Berlage, Chris Lebeau, Frank Lloyd Wright, followed until 1940.
