MOROCCO, 19th CENTURY In polychrome and gold silk thread brocade, decorated with lozenge ribbons edged with scrolls, housing red buttons crossed by four flowering stems, with its silver and gold thread buttons. Wear from use and age, lower back shows darker color. Small tears. Flower dimensions: 3.5 x 4 cm; Height: 137.5 cm; Width: 143.5 cm. A caftan preserved in the Batha Museum in Fez, Morocco.
