DEUX FARMANS (DÉCRETS) DÉCERNÉ À HAJI MIRZA FATHALLAH SHIRAZI (d.1287 H./1870)

IRAN, QAJAR ART, DATED: 1854 AND 1870 A decree with the imperial seal of Nasir al-Din Shah Qajar, dated dhu al-hajja, 1270 (August-September 1854): concerning the payment of 200 tomans to settle affairs in the Fars region, on the reverse, several seals, including an oval seal of Mirza Aqa Khan Nouri, Nasir al-Din Shah's prime minister. The second bears the imperial seal of Nasir al-Din Shah Qajar, as well as his signature, accompanied by a seal impression of the imperial decrees of the year 1287 H./1870, dated Rabi II 1287 H. (July 1870). The decree calls for the annual payment of 100 tomans, taken from the profits of Fars taxes, as salary to Mirza Muhammad 'Ali and the other sons of the late Haji Mirza Fathallah. The reverse shows several seals and signatures, including those of Nasir al-Din Shah's Prime Minister, Mushir al-Dawla. Dimensions: 52 x 35.5; 64.5 x 40.5 cm
