Cut flint denticulated foliate pieces. Neolithic-Predynastic (c. 6000-3000 BC). Set on metal plates. ADDED is a large photograph (modern print), showing the site where these flints were collected. 38 x 102 cm. Framed photos: 45 x 60 cm. Émile Baraize Collection (Cairo 1926-1935). Then by descent. Collected during the desilting of the Sphinx of Giza between 1926 and 1935.
