Cut flint denticulated foliate pieces. Neolithic-Predynastic (c. 6000-3000 BC). Set on metal plates, one detached. ADDED is a large panoramic photograph (modern print) depicting the site where these flints were collected. Framed. 42 x 153 cm. The photo: 112 x 60 cm. Émile Baraize (Cairo 1884-1952). Then by descent. Collected during the desilting of the Sphinx of Giza between 1926 and 1935.
