Monumental icon Life of Mary - Mother of God Bogolyubskaya surrounded by the complete cycle of the famous Akathistos Hymnos, South Russia, early 19th century, tempera on wood, 73 x 56.5 cm, the small scenes include: Mary with Elizabeth, Annunciation of the Nativity, Adoration of the Magi, Flight into Egypt, Offerings in the Temple and depictions of St. John Chrysostom, Nicholas, Gregory of Nazianzus and Basil of Caesarea, the panel somewhat warped and with two reverse sides - sponki, stress cracks, paint flaking, larger paint losses to the lower margin, minor losses to the upper margin, on the reverse side.
