"Dat Nye Testament Martini Luthers. Mit Nyen Sumarien edder kortem vorstande vp ein yder Capittel / dorch Johannem Bugenhagen Pomern MDXXXIII", part of the first Low German edition of a complete Bible based on Martin Luther's translation (the Bugenhagen Bible), Lübeck, Ludwig Dietz 1533, published before the first High German Luther translation, folio size approx. 34.5 x 24.5 cm, illustrated with 1 folio-sized title woodcut and 22 figurative woodcuts, not quite complete, as fols. 75, 76, 131-134 and 136ff (= chap. 17-22 of the Revelation of John) are missing, paper browned and often with stains or waterstains, especially near the inner and lower margins, first folio heavily browned and with tear, last leaves with old restorations at the margins, last leaf with missing part, in a later 18th century cardboard binding (browned).
