Necklace of 33 Roman or early Islamic mosaic glass beads, all in the same design (colored "murrines" on black ground), olive-shaped and spherical beads, from 1.2 x 0.8 cm to 3.1 x 1.8 cm resp. 2 x 1.5 cm, surface often with traces of weathering, some beads with small chips, fragments of a further bead included, one further bead apparently lost, recently mounted with gilded S-hook clasp, l 50 cm, must be re-mounted. 4469-046
