10 Meissen plates, c. 1750-60, the rim each with rocaille decoration in relief, German flower decoration, each with sword mark to the reverse. with sword mark centered with dot, diameter 24.3 to 25 cm, plates slightly warped and mostly with firing marks, all with chips or knocks, one plate with hairline crack, one plate broken and clipped, according to the previous owner the plates are part of the stock of the Royal Saxon Porcelain Manufactory Meissen confiscated by Prussia during the Seven Years' War and were bought from Frederick the Great by Heinrich Carl von Schimmelmann, Provenance: Property of a North German count's family, relatives of Schimmelmann. 4503-0002
