An important chest of drawers in veneered wood and marquetry, decorated with ribbons, flower baskets, Medici vases and bouquets of flowers in geometric fillet frames on three sides. The protruding front opens to two drawers without rails, with rounded sides. It stands on moving feet. Moulded red veined marble top. Stamped N. Petit and JME. Inventory number: 26. Transition period H. 89, W. 128, D. 59 cm Missing veneer NOTE : Nicolas PETIT, Maître in 1761, had his workshop under the sign "Au Nom de Jésus" on rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine.
