Lady's writing desk in veneered wood and marquetry, decorated with musical instruments, bouquets of flowers and geometric frames. It opens at the top with two leaves and stands on sheathed legs decorated with simulated fluting, joined by struts. Molded white marble top. Stamped Reizell and JME Louis XVI period H. 127, W. 63, D. 27 cm NOTE: François REIZELL, cabinetmaker of German origin, received the title of Master on February 26, 1764.
