Olympic Games/ Winter, 2006/ Turin. THE official torch. This torch, bearing the signature "20th Olympic Winter Games, Turin..." with logos and rings, is signed by master designer Pininfarina. Measuring 77 cm, it is said to bear a vague resemblance to the Ferrari prancing horse. In any case, under its steel-blue cloak, this aluminum-alloy marvel has given Italy some lovely snowflakes after those of Cortina in 1956... Fifty years on, and the sacred fire hasn't aged a bit, the torch has even been rejuvenated and given a modern, feline look... It will have travelled 11,300 km before burning on site.

Pair of silver spoons England 1787, silver-gilt, stamped with Lion Passant for England, hallmark Leopard's Head for London, year mark m for 1787 with monarch's head, maker's mark Hester Bateman (master from 1774), curved handles with rounded ends and floral engravings, gilt bowls with gadrooned and punched fruit relief, in very good condition for their age, l 22 cm each, total weight 114 g. Source: I. Pickford, Jackson's Silver & Gold Marks, Antique Collectors' Club, Woodbridge 2009, p. 224.

Boïard, by Vermout et la Bossue, winner of the Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly, the Grand Prix de Paris in 1873 and the Coupe d'Ascof in 1874, born in 1870, owned by M. Henry Delamarre, P., Goupil, large engraving in gummed colors from the period, 62/76cm, very fine condition.
