Monogrammist "OG" (20th century) Two portraits created from a study, 1933, oil on canvas / charcoal on paper, Munich. A study of a man on paper, which is seen as the predecessor of the two portraits. The two portraits also show this man, in one work frontally with much resemblance to the study, while the second portrait is painted in half-profile and with alienations, such as glasses and a hat. Both portraits are monogrammed and signed at the bottom right: "OG 1933". The study is dated "19.1 33" at the bottom right. Sheet (study) 47 x 32 cm. Image (portrait 1) 54.5 x 42 cm.
