Yakov Markovich Lisovoy (1882-1965) - Russian military and political figure, historian, publicist, bibliographer, collector, active participant in the White Movement, in emigration since 1920. The collections include a series of little-known documents from the period of the Russian Revolution and the Civil War - all materials from the collection of Ya.M. Lisovoy. In the years 1945-1947, in the USSR, the majority of the collection was fragmented and distributed among the special storages of various museums, thereby ceasing to exist as a unified whole. The publication of the "White Archive" collections has acquired the significance of a historical monument.
